you practice...
It is the mind you train,

Recommended Reading from Sensei Jepperson

Wado Ryu Karate (Paperback)
by Hironori Otsuka (Author)
This is a translation. The translatore is competant but he is not a martial artists, so he missed some of the essence of translation. But generally not bad and I think interesting.

Karate-Do by Tatsuo Suzuki, Pelham publishers, out of print and a
collector's item, but if you determinded to get books on Wado a must.

Karate Katas of Wadoryu (Hardcover)
by Shingo Ohgami (Author)
Great book, but remember only until Shodan, then I will show the differences
between what Ohgami is teaching and what is true Wado. Ohgami is a fine
martial artist, but he started in Goju so there are some points I disagree
with but only after shodan

Introduction to Karate (Hardcover)
by Shingo Ohgami (Author)
Same as above

Dynamic Kicking Method (Paperback)
by Masafumi Shiomitsu (Author), Shiomitsu (Author)
Some of you have met Sensei Shiomtsu, in college he was known for his
"mighty mawshigeri" he was team captain at Nichidai when they won the All
Japan Championships

Wado-Ryu Karate Fighting Techniques Uncovered (Paperback)
by Frank Johnson (Author)
A long time student of Sensei Suzuki, lived and trained in Japan during the 1970s, so definitely dated, but nice anecdotal information

Wado-Ryu Karate (Hardcover)
by Frank Johnson (Author)Karate Wado Ryu: 7 KYU (Paperback)
by Suzuki. Tatsuo (Author)
If you can find them they are collector items, produced in the 1970
s-not
